Siegel employees even found a way to tie the injury in to work by providing Barb with a pair of stanchions to use as crutches.

"It's kind of ridiculous how it happened, but I broke my leg earlier this year. Of all the ways I could have broken it, by skiing or slipping on the ever-present goose droppings here in Minnesota, I broke it by slipping on spaghetti! Don't ask me why spaghetti was underfoot, it just was. My esteemed co-workers turned the whole thing into a joke, which really did make me feel better and probably sped up my healing. I guess the old adage that laughter is the best medicine is true in my case," explained the formerly broken-legged Barb who has chosen not to reveal her last name for fear of even further embarrassment.
