Laura A. Wilkin Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Supply Chain Management
Ms. Wilkin serves as a divisional vice president of supply chain for Walmart Stores, Inc.

IRVINE, CA, October 19, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Laura A. Wilkin, Divisional Vice President of Supply Chain for Walmart Stores, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in supply chain management.

Ms. Wilkin serves as a divisional vice president of supply chain for Walmart Stores, Inc. She has admirably served her field for 24 years, utilizing her expertise in distribution center operations. As a vice president, she is responsible for overseeing the operations of 10 general merchandise and grocery facilities that service the Pacific Division, which represents $20 billion in revenue. Ms. Wilkin also supports the Pacific Division store operations team by implementing strategies that improve the cross-functional performance of the supply chain, particularly as it relates to the flow of merchandise into the stores and onto the sales floor.

Prior to joining Walmart, Ms. Wilkin served as Vice President, North American Distribution for Gap, Inc. Other supply chain experience includes leadership roles with Gymboree, Sephora and Levi Strauss where she served as Vice President, North American Supply Chain. Early in her career she worked for Accenture where she provided supply chain consulting services to Fortune 500 companies.

An Indiana University graduate, Ms. Wilkin earned a bachelor's degree in quantitative business analysis in 1987. A certified Six Sigma green belt, she is also certified in production and inventory control by APICS. Ms. Wilkin is a member of the Retail Industry Leaders Association and Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.
