Cambridge Who's Who Names Katherine L. Armagnac Professional of the Year in Consulting
Ms. Armagnac celebrates a truly diverse and successful career in numerous fields
SAINT HELENA, CA, November 10, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ --Katherine Armagnac, Principal of KLA Enterprises, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Consulting. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.
With 16 years of experience as Principal of KLA Enterprises, Ms. Armagnac is responsible for mentoring and leading employees, as well as consulting with clients. A natural leader, she teaches by example, and regards her employees' opinions with genuine care and respect. Ms. Armagnac has co-founded two companies, which were later sold to NYSE corporations. The first of these companies was a multi-disciplined consulting business with offices from Washington, DC to Hawaii, and the second was a railroad corporation with two regional lines and several short lines in three states. A multifaceted and multitalented individual, she has owned three vineyards and made premium wine under the proprietary label of Le Pre. She has also owned two French country antique stores and is the author of a cookbook titled, 'Viva Mexican Meals.' She has strong ethical values and integrity in both her professions within the accounting and real estate development industries. Ms. Armagnac also holds the distinction of being the first degreed female accountant to be hired by the Stanford Research Institute. The most gratifying aspect of her career was being honored by the San Francisco Bay Area's presentation, titled 'Just How Diverse Can A Life Be?'
Ms. Armagnac received a Bachelor of Science in accounting with a minor in economics from the University of Arizona in 1962. She is a member of The Commonwealth Club of California and was a member of the board of directors for WESTEC Services, Inc. and WRInc. In addition, she is a founding member of the national World War II Memorial. In years to come, Ms. Armagnac hopes to continue to progressively provide mentoring and business development initiatives for various industries, and problem-solving services for all executives in need of support.
