Deborah Andrews Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Credit Management
Ms. Andrews' passion for plants led her to manage the credit of a prominent nursery

GRANBY, CT, November 28, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Deborah Andrews, Corporate Credit Manager of Imperial Nurseries, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in credit management.

As a corporate credit manager for Imperial Nurseries, Ms. Andrews is responsible for reviewing accounts, assigning credit lines, assisting with the credit application process, overseeing credit increases and decreases, updating credit applications, and releasing orders for sales and legal action on defaults. She became involved in her profession because she has always enjoyed plants. She was working in inventory control at The Robert Baker Companies, Inc. when she was asked to take over the credit department.

Ms. Andrews received a bachelor's degree in business management from Lesley University in 1998. She is the current chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Credit Management Connecticut and the past chairman of the National Association of Credit Management of South Texas. She has received an Outstanding Leadership Award from the National Association of Credit Management, Houston and certificates of appreciation from the National Association of Credit Management Connecticut. In years to come, Ms. Andrews hopes to bring the company into the electronic age and go paperless. She aims to obtain a certified credit executive designation and continue progressing within her career.
