HOUSTON, TX, November 17, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Janice Kay Andrews, Executive Assistant for M-I SWACO, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Corporate Administration. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

With four years of experience as an executive assistant for M-I SWACO, Ms. Andrews specializes in business administration and business law. A dedicated professional, she is responsible for assisting the director of environmental solutions and also serves as floor administrator. She became involved in her profession through the example set by her mother, the secretary to a vice president of a large corporation; without her services, Ms. Andrews recalls, the company could not run properly.

Ms. Andrews received an Associate of Arts in interior design from The Art Institute of Houston in 1989. In addition to her formal education, she is a certified notary public in the State of Texas and a certified professional secretary of the International Association of Administrative Professionals. She is a member of Austin's Old 300, the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, and the International Association of Administrative Professionals. In the near future, Ms. Andrews hopes to be the office administrator for a large, creative, unstructured firm.
