MANSFIELD, TX, July 22, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nathalene Armstrong, Senior Manager of Finance for Lockheed Martin Corporation, Missiles and Fire Control, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in estimation and procurement.

From a young age, Ms. Armstrong knew that she wanted to be at the forefront of a business. Having gathered more than 25 years of experience in procurement, materials cost analysis and estimating, she excels at attracting and responding to customer requests for proposals and ensuring budgets are maintained after contract award. An award-winning professional, Ms. Armstrong has spent the past eight years serving as a senior manager of finance, in which capacity she manages materials, oversees cost management and expertly makes estimates for new business proposals. She credits her success to her networking skills and her education; she earned a Master of Science in operations management from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 1986 and a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from The University of Louisiana at Monroe in 1979.

Ms. Armstrong received recognition as Procurement Manager of the Year in 2005, and attained an Excellence Award from her company in 2003, as well as an Outstanding Service Award for Procurement. She serves as secretary of the Lone Star chapter of the Society of Cost Estimating and Analysis and is a member of the Fort Worth chapter of the National Contract Management Association.
