Cambridge Who's Who Names Roy Whitney Executive of the Year in Oil and Gas Consulting
Roy Whitney use his knowledge and experience to benefit both corporations and aboriginal people

TSUU T'INA NATION, AB, CANADA, February 8, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Roy Whitney, President of Wynterose Consulting Group Ltd., has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in oil and gas consulting. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

Mr. Whitney has served as the president of Wynterose Consulting Group Ltd., an aboriginally owned company, for the past 10 years, and has 12 years of experience in his current field. After serving as a chief of Tsuu T'ina First Nation from 1984 to 2001, Mr. Whitney worked with BP. He has a keen sense of potential issues and problems and possesses the ability to efficiently develop solutions. These skills enable Mr. Whitney to create strategic plans and goals, draft documents, and manage high-level clients, all in support of the company's goal of sustaining industrial and First Nation interests.

Holding a certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors, Mr. Whitney is a recent graduate of the Directors Education Program for Board Governance at the University of Calgary's Haskayne School of Business. In 2001, he was honored with a National Aboriginal Achievement Award for Business and Commerce and a Paul Harris Fellow Award.
